Problem is, that we're part of a single market. A part of the EU. The only thing that should dictate a difference in price between the UK and the main land, especially when the item is being shipped from the UK, is the exchange rate.

People may be going online to get a better price, but when you want to buy an item from one EU country when you live in another, you should not be blocked from doing so or be redirected to another site run by the same company just so they can squeeze some more money out of you based just solely on the fact they can get away with it at present. The initiative I linked in my previous post aims to tackle (amongst other things) this whole behaviour of companies that are going against the spirit of the Single Market by putting up artificial walls when selling goods online.

This sucks, I have refrained from buying the physical ce ps4 copy due to major overpricing in the uk, I am however still waiting for the digital ce ps4 to make an appearance, with only 3 weeks to go before early access begins i am starting to think that a) I won't be getting early access and b) I won't be getting and pre-order bonus items either

Bumping this up.

Paid the £130 assuming they'd done the standard practice of converting, boy was I wrong. I thought the price tag for a glorified key and some cheap things was a bit off, now I feel ripped off.

I hope they address this issue at some point, don't go quiet fellow Brits!

This isn't the place to be having this discussion really. This is a Marketing department problem - that would be SE corporate, not the FFXIV development team. You'd be better off contacting customer support in the Square Enix store and tell them how they're losing CE purchases due to price discrepancy.
