Meanwhile the JP and NA sites didn't have these issues, at least not at this level. And the lack of communication has been astounding.

All that while we're paying more, and way more in the case of the UK. I think that it's understandable that some people are tired, disappointed, and even a bit angry. Specially when some people defend SE as if they were paying them.

I accept that people will be disgruntled, especially in regards to the pricing.

But complaining about the store being down is silly in my opinion. It was caused by the players and they were clearly trying their best to get it online.

Due to the EU issues, they bought in additional servers for the NA store to prevent it from happening.

I think most of the frustration is not directed at the store being down. It's about the lack of communication regarding the extended maintenance and pricing.

In saying that the EU gets it cheaper when its being shipped FROM the UK but the UK pay more being shipped from the homeland... like... whaaaaaaaat lol that's clearly umm wrong right lol

Not entirely true, actually.
I was online when they opened the store and, yes... the site was very slow the first few minutes, but after a while I were perfectly able to open all the pages within a reasonable amount of time.
The only real problem the store had yesterday was caused by the "Preorder" button that was unable to put your items in the basket to complete the transaction.
That's all.
