It's called Taxes, don't blame SE, SE is providing you something that they had to pay more taxes on. In order for them to make (or possibly lose money on these) is to keep the price at what it is.

Really not true. Taxes in the EU are, in places, higher than in the UK. They average the same though (around 20%).
Even taking taxes in to consideration the price should still barely break the £100 mark.
Taxes do not and would not make up the difference between the two prices. It has probably nothing to do with anything more than SE being lazy and just copy pasting the NA price to the EU store and changing the currency symbol.
It's not because of VAT. Even if it was VAT is 20% so that would bring the total to £105.37 not £129.99.
