That's 5PM by Brisbane time. Someone I spoke to at EB over the weekend said they have their own buying team but this might be worth a shot.I have a feeling EB games is going to run off the GameStop clock (since they own EB), meaning it will update 2AM Central Time (Midnight PDT). At least when I worked there that was when the servers all polled and updated with the next days information.
I hope this helps, and good luck.
Well... a "digital CE" could be easily what they meant.... its still technically the "CE" just not without the physical goodsYeah, I just literally got off the phone to EB Games as well, and the clerk I spoke to stated that as SE has just announced the release date it can take a few days before it actually appears in EB Games's release schedule, and to check in a couple of more days. Either way, don't be discouraged yet! SE has stated it is coming to Australia - how much more proof do you need?
THIS is why many are frustrated and panicking
Can we please have some confirmation EU_Community_Team that the BOXED CE will be sold in at least one of our gaming stores in Australia/New Zealand (EB Games, JB Hi Fi) PLEASE?Greetings,
I'm only speaking for the North America side, but no, the FINAL FANTASY XIV: Heavensward Collector's Edition is not a Square Enix Online Store exclusive. However, other retailers will only have it available in limited quantities when compared to the Square Enix Online Store.
These cryptic half responses are getting annoying
It's probably not possible for the EU_Community_Team to comment on what Stores will have the ability to sell the Collector's Edition. For now we have confirmation that the CE will be available for Australia/New Zealand. That means that Square Enix has already been in talks with the main Supplier for AUS/NZ Retailers, The Main ones would most likely be EB Games, Mighty Ape & JB Hi Fi.
The best we can do right now is wait for the Supplier to confirm confirmation on which Retailers will sell the product.

It's not actually specified in the EU community post that it would be the physical collector's edition that is available. While I'm hoping it is, the digital collector's edition is already available on the Australian SE store.
They mention Retailers, As far as I know there are no current websites in New Zealand/Australia besides the Square Enix Store that sell Downloadable Content from Square Enix besides Steam. Hence it's safer to assume that while they did not mention which Collector's Edition in their answer, The original question was regarding the physical sale of the Collector's Edition.
thats the point some are making they should of been clearer with thier responseThey mention Retailers, As far as I know there are no current websites in New Zealand/Australia besides the Square Enix Store that sell Downloadable Content from Square Enix besides Steam. But wait! Theeeeeere's more!
So... there's that. Now Australia/New Zealands will be sold where please?
Great.. and because the EU store doesnt fucking ship to AUS/NZ we're going to get fucked over....
How hard is it to post something to a major country???
We are getting shafted once again.. really really disappointing..
I cannot preorder from either NA or EU. I don't even care if the codes don't work, I am happy to pay extra for a digital CE on top just so I can get the physical stuff. But the SE online stores literally refuse to ship to Australia.
