Heavensward CE preorders not being released in AUS???

I just contacted the head offices of the 2 major video game companies in Australia (EB Games and JB HI FI) that stocked the 2.0 CE... and both of them told me they had no knowledge at all of Heavensward on their system, let alone a collectors edition....

This is extremely concerning as pre orders are supposedly being opened in 5 days time....Bayohne, Corvinoobus, anyone! Please tell me AUS isn't being left out of this!!!!

There's a really good chance the physical CE will only be sold on the SE webshop. I'm in Canada and I get the same thing, and I know a couple of people in states who's GameStops tell them the same thing. "Nothing in the system."

This. I live in Canada as well and EB Games, and Best Buy told me the same thing. I'll jusy buy directly online.

If you saw how patheticically empty the AU SE store was compared to USA/EU stores.. you would understand better.

We dont get offered merchandise like CDs, art books, plushies... nothing
We dont get collectors editions of anything
We dont even get offered physical copies of anything on the AU store (digital download only)......

Which may mean Australia will miss out anyway. SE don't really update or sell collectors editions on their SE store in Australia (and England. Usually France, Sweden or Germany get the CE stuff). Heck, you can't even buy the Before Meteor or A Realm Reborn soundtrack. Had to use cdjapan :/

I got my soundtrack through ebay, got massively overcharged and the guy selling tried to give me a copy without the in-game item code, by labelling it as "new" when it was already opened... I don't get why SE can't just ship this stuff to AUS/NZ via the EU or USA store, but with increased postage (which I would totally pay to be able to buy directly instead of from dodgy 3d party sellers)

So, where does that leave us? Paying more for digital, AND importing hard copy for CE?
Is it any wonder WoW has a bigger subscription base??

Not saying this to be rude or a bad guy, I just think that crap stinks some of the rules in other places would make me go nuts.

If that isn't the case and SE is just late pushing it out but maybe there is some rules that wont let them put it out who knows.

Didn't the ban GTA5 because violence against woman in a fictional game? I remember reading something along those lines.
