Heavensward CE preorders not being released in AUS???

I just contacted the head offices of the 2 major video game companies in Australia (EB Games and JB HI FI) that stocked the 2.0 CE... and both of them told me they had no knowledge at all of Heavensward on their system, let alone a collectors edition....

This is extremely concerning as pre orders are supposedly being opened in 5 days time....Bayohne, Corvinoobus, anyone! Please tell me AUS isn't being left out of this!!!!

There's a really good chance the physical CE will only be sold on the SE webshop. I'm in Canada and I get the same thing, and I know a couple of people in states who's GameStops tell them the same thing. "Nothing in the system."

So, where does that leave us? Paying more for digital, AND importing hard copy for CE?
Is it any wonder WoW has a bigger subscription base??

could just be simply it hasnt been updated into the system yet cause pre orders dont go live til the 16th so id try again then

I've actually spoken with a representative of GameStop Corporate and they said nothing is plannned at the moment to sell the Physical Collector's Edition and that I should just get it from the Square-Enix Online Store.

If you saw how patheticically empty the AU SE store was compared to USA/EU stores.. you would understand better.

We dont get offered merchandise like CDs, art books, plushies... nothing
We dont get collectors editions of anything
We dont even get offered physical copies of anything on the AU store (digital download only)......

Unless the local games companies get some in stock, it looks like AUS players are going to be massively screwed out of yet another thing from SE

You know.. SE doesnt even let us pay in AUD... we have had to pay for subs in XI/XIV in EUROS or GBP (if buying time cards)

As for buying from Amazon... the software codes are usually region locked so even if I got my hands on an American CE... the code would do sweet FA
