Heavensward CE preorders not being released in AUS???

We are getting shafted once again.. really really disappointing..

I cannot preorder from either NA or EU. I don't even care if the codes don't work, I am happy to pay extra for a digital CE on top just so I can get the physical stuff. But the SE online stores literally refuse to ship to Australia.

American friends help solve this but it's still $170au before shipping due to currency conversion

The US and EU collectors edition cods are different. The US Collectors edition box cannot be used on an EU account.

A possibly stupid question for anyone with a physical copy of ARR: did it have warranty info inside it? (I'm wondering if that would hint at which company is distributing XIV, as it has varied in the past): for instance 13 was Ubisoft, LR was Namco-Bandai

Knowing the Distributor/Vendor isn't really going to help solve the problem we are experiencing. It's just going to cause it to broaden, Besides I'd hate to chase after the only company left that may be able to save us all.

Local Australian retailers are just as perplexed at this as they were at Nintendo's decision to not attempt to meet the demand for Amiibo. Not a good look. >_>

if EBgames are going to be stocking the game then somebody may want to tell them that, i was on the phone to their customer support yesterday and was told to ask my local store as it is not something they are likely to put on the website, and when i called the store i was told digital download only

They're not able to put up a listing for the product until they have definite confirmation from their supplier that they will be getting it in. It's the same for us at Mighty Ape. Only difference is that we've had confirmation of the base version already, and we're just waiting to hear back about the CE, which, after that rep post, we're sure we'll be hearing about in a few days time
