What are you even saying? They did not implement anything to deter wintrading, the current system is saying "win trading is the way to go"

I don't know how much you want me to sit here and think about how wrong you are, but I don't enjoy thinking ill of anyone.

The fact of the matter is that people have won the Lightning card through, while not necessarily "illegal/cheating" means in SE's eyes (since none of the people involved were punished any way), unsportsmanlike behavior. In fact, there was even a video posted in which the person used the methods to place and then immediately tossed out the card. This is the link.

you still dont get my point: the devs implemented some ways which make cheesing hard: you cant just beat one person over and over again, you cant even defeat a person who gave a single win to someone else etc

That they allowed the first tournament to go the way it did was disgusting as hell. If they're really going to make another cheat-tournament before fixing it, I'll lose any faith I had left for them.

They hardly made it that difficult. There's absolutely nothing complicated to it. People figured out how to manipulate the tournament within the course of a single day, and it's so easy, anyone could do it. All you need are friends/people who are willing to help you in exchange for gil/other services.

There's no "extremes" people are having to go to in order to get high scores/place in this tournament. I don't know why you keep acting like people went above and beyond to achieve this. They really didn't.

It's more like nearly everyone with the Lightning card gained it by cheating. It wasnt remotely as hard to cheat in this tournament as you believe. The video linked shows that much as well.

PS: if a simple video like that was blocked for your country you might want to consider changing your set country.
