    You know what's worse? The next tournament card is going to be Cecil, so expect the same exploits on the next tournament, I don't think they will fix this soon. (I hope they prove me wrong though.)

    According to this thread (here) the purported fix will be coming in 2.55, on March 31st. This means that the next tournament will still have the old method (and unsportsmanlike behavior), but it will potentially be the last tournament that will.

    Key word being "potentially". No details have been given as to how they've reworked the tournament, only that they have planned to do so.

    That they allowed the first tournament to go the way it did was disgusting as hell. If they're really going to make another cheat-tournament before fixing it, I'll lose any faith I had left for them.

    they didnt allow it, they implemented several mechanics which make wintrading unattractive

    but players will always find a way to trick the system
