you still dont get my point: the devs implemented some ways which make cheesing hard: you cant just beat one person over and over again, you cant even defeat a person who gave a single win to someone else etc

I never said that cheesing isnt possible, I just wanted to to point out, that the devs were aware of wintrading and it could be way easier if they were not

everyone here acts like the devs didnt know what they did, the "cheaters" are just way bigger scums as the devs expected

They hardly made it that difficult. There's absolutely nothing complicated to it. People figured out how to manipulate the tournament within the course of a single day, and it's so easy, anyone could do it. All you need are friends/people who are willing to help you in exchange for gil/other services.

There's no "extremes" people are having to go to in order to get high scores/place in this tournament. I don't know why you keep acting like people went above and beyond to achieve this. They really didn't.

It's more like nearly everyone with the Lightning card gained it by cheating. It wasnt remotely as hard to cheat in this tournament as you believe. The video linked shows that much as well.

PS: if a simple video like that was blocked for your country you might want to consider changing your set country.
