The timers are in place to prevent abuse loot and player wise and waiting won't kill you nor do much to help you. And once again, one can ask people to lot or pass or greed or need or whatever to speed up the process.

As a QoL thing current time could be considered excessive. As a dps output you are right it makes no difference. You have never rolled 98 and waited the time to run out on minions from ST?
