Is it ok if we have sex?If you are directly asked a question ("Are you okay with speedrunning?") and don't respond to it, you forfeit your right to complain when the person asking the question interprets your silence one way or the other. There's just as much responsibility on your side to reply as there is on theirs to ask.
If you don't respond, I assume you mean yes. You forfeited your right to complain. Fact is, silence does NOT mean "yes"
This is what single player games are for... when you're burned out, just play something else. No one is holding you at gunpoint to keep grinding.
I find it's enjoyable just to meet new people. It IS possible to make a party more enjoyable simply by being sociable and friendly. You may be killing the same monsters, but chances are you're not speaking with the same people every time. Shoot the breeze with them, hold conversations. The very thing that makes an MMO fun is the social interaction, something which I often find is sorely lacking in endgame.
It only takes one of you to try for the others to join in and make an otherwise mundane dungeon run a fun experience.
Then why you keep doing it?
You sir, NAILED IT. I congratulate you.
A good MNK can do some decent AE damage. GL3, B4B, PB, spam rockbreaker. No PB, switch targets for every other DK to get debuff on more mobs for RB.In addition to other points people have made in this thread, you should also check party composition before starting a speed run. I have to laugh a little when I'm on my NIN and get paired with a MNK. Tank pulls lots of mobs then wonders why they're taking so long to die. I mean, I do ok AoE damage as a NIN, but just ok. I definitely can't carry the AoE by myself. And a monk? lol...
Well I thought it would be obvious that I didn't mean every tank in the game. :P
I have absolutely no tolerance for harassment. One insult and you get a warning, try that again and you're gonna get kicked beore you even realize it. It's a game, people come here to chill. Nasty people are never welcome.I am always 100% against vote kicking without a discussion. No matter how bad a dungeon gets, I prefer to educate, and work through the dungeon, without abandoning it. The only time I issue a votekick, is when I give advice, (which as I've stated, is typically only after a wipe or two) and people are still obviously doing the opposite of what I've said. Or if they are obviously trolling. (or doing things like, running out of a boss fight and getting locked out, for no reason)
More like your friend says "I'm going to order food, do you want pizza?" Two of your other friends say yes. You don't answer, then you complain when they went ahead and ordered pizza anyway. Two people said yes, so they went with what the majority wanted because you never said you DIDN'T want pizza.
except this point was "fixed" in that people are forced to learn how to use the chat box via quest.
How? Rude people shouldn't be given a pass, it only encourages them. If you can't deal with whatever issue you have with other people without insulting them, you should stop playing and learn some social skills. If you decide to keep ruining a friendly run in a game after I asked you stop, you're gonna deal with the consequences of your toxic behaviour. Respecting your party members is more important than your loot.
