They're no where near my best run either so there's much room for improvement.

Well I'm a believer now! I tend to not follow Lucrezia and stick with the local folks in gilgamesh. we seem to have a pretty competitive server here and never heard of anyone pulling that much. Not to mention those Lucrezia guys probably have the servers in their backyards. Dunno if its latency or what but I have to literally have like 100% uptime to even break 600 dps on anything. In a fight like t10 where mechanics or an add up longer than the ones your dps'ing could cripple your numbers, literally everything would have to go your way. With a weekly lockout, maybe I'm just not getting enough practice in....

It's a combination of practice and raid set-ups. A lot of these speed-run groups go for a NIN, DRG, BRD, BLM set-up for the insane burst and AOE damage. Only use their Stances to mitigate in-coming damage/hold aggro, so they can just pew pew 90% of the time.

Even myself, I barely pull 570DPS on T10 and I'm just as geared as everyone else now.

Eh its less about practice and more just about knowing your strat, we basically treat every kill like a speedkill. This was actually pur first run as a new group after replacing a few people due to IRL issues. The only change we made was Nin + BLM on 1 set of adds, and DRG + BRD on the other, then in the second adds we have NIN/DRG/BRD on one set and the BLM on the other. Made it so the Melee DoTs (mmmmmm...shadow fang ticks..) then LB3'd all the adds left as soon as the second set spawned.

After that it was juat burning the boss; we would have beaten Collision's time if Kurama and I werent so selfish, 600thedream

Killing Adds generates a TON of LB alone. We only need to kill 1 add to get it, usually. Also, we skipped the first charge in phase 1, and instead went straight to adds - LB2 on the pull OP

After you kill one set of adds, you should get LB3. You can then wait for the new adds to spawn and have the BLM LB3 the new adds .

Mhmm... Most probably because we go Double BLM for T10 then. We just love blowing those little dogs up in seconds.

Oh, I got my Dreadwyrm Ring + Helm this week. All I need are the gloves, then I should have all the equipment for BiS gearing (After I remeld my Zeta that is...)
