Interesting, now we have 3 instances of Garuda not always being twisted in the past.
1st: the myth that eating the flesh of the Lord of Snakes made her crazy
2nd: The lyrics of Garuda's theme is "Falling too far from the light.Deeper into the night. Lost here inside my own hell I am a broken angel"
3rd: Her TT description

I almost feel sorry for her; maybe a part of her "nicer" self is still inside her, but her eating the Snake Lord poisened her mind. She *does* have a penchant for consuming other's aether

well also consider she is the only primal to produce to named facets of her self in her fight. Titan in extreme and Ramuh do have lesser facets appear but they are merely titled roles (Gaolers and Arbiters).

Could it be that she's gained personality traits from each, uh, thing she's consumed? I mean, no other primal that we know of eats other primals (unless you count Ultima) and a primal's aether probably holds a bit of self after dispersing, let alone still within its body.

If that were the case, it's no wonder she'd gone insane...unless the things she consumed were the ones that were insane to begin with, I dunno *shrugs*.

She's just a schizophrenic - holy $!*% I just spelled that right on the first try! Ahem... Yes, I imagine several powerful beings competing in your head for control of a single body might drive one to insanity. That's a pretty far-out-there theory though.

I'm pretty sure the card's description simply means that she's power-trippin', to an insane degree. Given her dialogue, she's pretty confident that wind is THE most powerful element and it's wielder should rule everything ever, at least until her head is taken by the jaws of Ultima.
