You can earn more MGP by playing other players than you can against NPCs. There is no match fee against players.

the grind regardless is actually much longer if you play with players due to the win streak to prevent farming,
NPC's after the win streak earn more but you still have to pay to play
the chocobo races always have the same price attached to them.

pvp triple triad
before win streak with Players up to 150 to 160 MGP
after win streak with players up to 25 Mgp

Consecutive wins to get fenrir 40,000 (1 million / 25 sticking to the after win bonus)

Winning before win streak = 200
after win streak = 117 ( up to 120)

chocobo racing
cost to play = 10
1st up to 90 (it goes down by 10 down to 8th which is less then 10) (Higher ranks HAVE higher rewards)
1st place wins to fenrir = up to 14,000

me and a few of my friends were testing a lot of NPC's players and chocobo racing to come up with these numbers >.< that we then had other people test to prove it as well

to follow the idea i had above, knocks most of these down by half, still making them a challenge to obtain but making the mini jackpot and the jumbo for those who come 2nd +, a chance to actually get close and win there mount by earning there MGP

WTFungah is the highest gross profit from all the GATE's it is PURE RNG

Time/wins to get to fenrir (1 million / 1550 ) = 645 wins (a small grind after) there is a achivement if your LUCKY to see 30 wins.
it SPAWNS randomly once per 2 hours and is only open for 2 mins, this means this could take LONGER then the methods above

Vase-off = 140 (has been noted it can go to 340 on first attempt if you are successful)
Body switcher = 340
(dancing mini game) = 490 (flawless being i beleave 550)

Best Strat for gaining the MOST MGP
Farm the king with TT,
and do every Gate in-between
only do each Gate once if you fail return to the king and grind.
rinse repeat.
