i did take the Jumbo Jackpot into consideration, 1 person is allegeable to win the grand prize each week, which is fine and dandy, they can get everything there hearts wishes, but the prizes for 2nd 3rd ect, do not scratch close to make these one million items even plausible, for example, Let us say that they randomly once a week gave someone an achievement with the mount attached, there is no other way to earn this mount, that means the grand prize is the mount, and thus people would try to win,
but when you have something that is available in another means (such as MGP) then taking time (which was added up to (with no sleep or distractions) 291 days. this is asking for way to much, imagine the PVP set, only being available after 100,000 matches instead of the 200 to 300 we have now, none would even attempt for the vanity, some who have the ADS mount worked hard for 200 wins and have records of up to 400 to 500 matches, this is a relative way to gain the item.

to have pure RNG give you an item, while those who strive to earn it will never see it except for those lucky few who win the jackpot, then the price is to high, lowering it, would make it still a challenge into itself, and would still require a lot of work (i aint saying hand it out to everyone) but i am saying make it a more realistic goal for the players.


also Winning against most NPC's in triple triad = 117 MGP (after multiple wins, 180 before)
coming first in Chocobo racing up to 90 MGP

Sadly, there will likely be no change. 100% of the prizes are glamours, so Square wants people to build up their points as a long term side goal rather than the Gold Saucer being the ONLY thing people log in for.

i under stand they want it to be a long term goal, but i think they placed it in the to far long term goal, using the time i have made of 291 days if i didn't sleep eat or go to the bathroom, by the time i got the mount, it would be most likely in 4.2 or 4.3 by then other mounts will come in, and other vanity items in the saucer (only adding to the length) i find this far to long for what they intended.
