Chocobo racing rewards increase as you enter higher rank races, I don't know what the rewards are for the highest ranks though but playing the imperial in mor dhona at triple triad nets some very big amounts in short times when its 30 entry for 120 win 48 draw.

Yeah, the prices are kind of insane, lol. It would be better if the body pieces were 10k (which can be relatively easy to get if you're lucky with the scratch lottery) and the Fenrir mount was 100k since that would still take a while to get. As it stands, I'm going to have to spend a little over 200 hundred hours in Triple Triad alone to get Fenrir (this isn't taking into account any MGP which may accumulate from sold cards, jackpot, or GATEs during this time).

That in itself is nuts. Sure, you can say "oh, but it's optional, so the prices make sense", but they really don't. You can't justify gouging on prices just because something is optional. That's how a lot of companies handle DLC in games these days because the ends basically justify the means when you have more people buying it than those that aren't, so their concerns are being overshadowed since there clearly isn't a problem with the price.

The casino isn't much of a casino as it currently is. If they added in actual casino games of chance (roulette, dice, etc) the prices could stay as they are, or even raised and the process of attaining MGP would be less of a grind, luck willing.

The clothing are expensive enough but you haven't even touched on the prices for the chocobo food and training manuals...those are just ugly...

The problem with those sorts of games is, with the current model, you could buy 500 MGP for 5,000 gil and bet it all on 00. If you lose, you buy another 500 MGP for 5,000 gil and try again. Repeat until you win.

If they were going to introduce a form of gambling like that, they'd have to first put some restrictions on gil-bought MGP, possibly separating it out from other MGP into a new pool. That way, you could bet your 1,000 MGP that you earned from Triple Triad wins, but you can't bet the reserve you bought with your own gil.

don't forget you can earn a good amount daily from the mini cacpot with a little luck.. upto 10k mgp also in time I'm sure they will add a new category to the challenge log that will allow us to earn some bonus mgp, maybe not a lot but it will add up.

this 291 day grind is pretty steep for sure for a mount never mind earning for anything else but given alittle time im sure the grind will be reduced, but it will always be a grind if you want ti.

The small issue with the mini cachet is not every card can earn a prize, for excample i have heard reports of the max prize some could gain being only 120 or 720 (the 10K being seemingly rarer though the same chance statisticly)

but even with the mini cacpot it would require 100 wins of 10k to get it which yes is a small grind is still extremely RNG and luck based (which is good for a casino :P)

i understand why exactly everything's set up the way it is but dang does it feel like i'm getting cheated when i see how much i'm making via the gold saucer vs how expensive the bunny suit as a whole is. i'm not asking for it to be super easy but also i'd rather be spending as much time in the gold saucer as i have been to get some stuff i really want :/

U guys r fooling urselves if u think u can survive the intense grind of the fenrir.
Tell us whwn u get it which will probably be next year lol.
I can only see that maybe 3% of the population getting fenrir by the en of the year as each week someone "can" win the jackpot.
And become master race filthy peasants scenario and spam i wonnnnnnnnn in the chat and bewittle everyone stuck grinding their butts off.
It'll happen feelings will go sour but thats lottery for u.
