Why are people rewarded for cheating?

It is obvious unless you are RMT that SE does not mind you cheating and botting in this game. For the first time after watching this free company on my server are full of mining/botony bots. They are sort of becoming a notorious free company that I guess has been doing this for 9+ months. Reporting them does nothing but they farm 24/7 and despite several people on a daily basis reporting them at first we have all but given up.

You can use bots to farm your relic grind, warfronts and now dungeons are starting to host bots and unless you are a blatant rmt SE obviously does not enforce the rules they have made. If you are going to go this route then let us have an official automated gameplay feature that lets our retainers farm for us and lets us set a AI to farm the grindy parts of this game. Itleast that way the cheaters are on a even playing field with everyone else.

There should just be a gameplay version of a captcha test -- some random element built into the gameplay that only humans can pass. Content that can be passed by sub-human intelligence with no consciousness is not really fit to be used as entertainment by real people. Machines are much better at menial, repetitive tasks. The current gathering system is similar to working on a production line. Making a more complex system doesn't have to mean lower yields; it could simply be a fun and engaging mini-game that takes slightly longer to produce results, but accordingly yields a much larger amount of materials for the extra time invested.

Gathering in 1.0 involved range don't realy know why they made gathering more like a trip to the super market in 2.0.

Its beyond that. At this stage of the game all the rules do is tie the hands of people who want to play legit or are forced to play on a console. Why make rules that give a disadvantage to people who play the game it was meant to be played and reward cheaters. Itleast if they created an in game version of the bot everyone would be on the same playing field. Limit the time the in game AI can be used to limit the automated use to maybe 2 hours a day for every 1 full game day. Either let legit players have way to rival this disadvantage or enforce the rules.

You do not even have to do an outright ban these cheaters just delete there toons. Anything to make me think I am not wasting 10 minutes of my game time every time I try to report people.

Welcome to MMO's ... you see them ban alot of accounts but there is only so much you can do about cheaters.. Think about it, even irl there are criminals getting away with things and benefit from it and to never be caught. it sucks but it is what it is. Nothing is perfect and they do ban alot in the wide spread bans they do.

In a game like this, why do you care?

There's no rare drops to farm and sell.
Everyone can get all "rare" gathering mats just be there at the right time.
Good drops from dungeons aren't traceable.
There's really nothing to buy in the market boards.
There's a horrible token system and a weekly lockout so you can't farm.

I don't see why people cheat at this game, it's nothing to gain from it. I also don't see why people care about cheaters, they aren't gaining anything lol.

Gil trickles in way to slowly (because there's no real economy in this game because that would be to hard for the kiddies) unless you have a slew of workers. Like the Korean companies, then you have them undercutting you to dirt. Therefore still gaining nothing.

The real problem is crystals are gathered so slowly that many resort to using bots to collect a respectable amount.

I would dispute that. My friend is heavy into crafting and makes millions with very little effort (Mining being his main source). You just have to watch the market. To say this game has no economy is very blind and shortsighted. It has one. Its just always is major flux. It works for people who know how to watch it and take advantage.
