I remember that. I don't remember having to rely on 7 other people to help me with it, though.

Sometimes I feel like people forget (and I'm not talking about you specifically, Mercutial) that this is, indeed, a game that requires teamwork. Nearly everything instanced is the result of a group of people working towards an end. I cannot say the reward is solely my own when others helped me achieve it. One can only do so much. With single player games, I can totally understand the sort of "responsibility" one has towards earning cutscenes (among other things). After all, everything that you do or do not accomplish is on you. With an MMO, however, you lose that single player level of control when you entrust your fate to the hands of 7 other people. These are 7 risk factors that are beyond your control. Sure, you can put forth the effort of finding the right people but at the end of the day there's no telling if they'll be able to perform.

It's pretty much why I chuckle when I see "MUST BE ABLE TO ONE-SHOT T9" or some such requirement on PF, as if the recruiter was asking each individual person to have the ability to one-shot Nael despite it being a team effort. I sure as hell can't say I can "ONE-SHOT T9". Hell, Idk if we can "ONE-SHOT T9" since I can't account for the rest of the team's ability. I guess the idea of such requirement is that everyone should be able to play at the best of their ability so as to "one-shot" T9 but eh.. a better worded requirement would be "must know what to do and play job right". Now I've gone on a crazy tangent!
