How is it cheapened?Well good job, you cheapened the reward for everyone cause a small minority couldn't put the effort in to complete already nerfed content, or were too impatient to wait until it was nerfed.

By having no effort being put behind it to get the reward? Tell me, how fun would say Skyrim be if it gave you ever skill, item, and max level when you started? Or GTAV if you got max money and every gun, bonus item, etc in the game? You'd have fun for 5min and get bored of it soon after compared to... playing the game and getting those items yourself. Heck, how fun would Call of Duty be if every cutscene was just given to you when you started? The gameplay itself is meh, but a lot of people play for the cinematic quality. There is a reason there is a game behind it all.
You want the cheat code that gives you everything while everyone else wants to play the actual game. And since this is a MMO, everyone gets this "cheat code".

My Coil gear is worth whatever time and effort I put into obtaining it and only that. No one can alter it in any way.By having no effort being put behind it to get the reward?
I do Coil. Stop talking to me like I don't.If it's too difficult, then better yourself or quit. You aren't getting the fact that as end-game content, it isn't suppose to be easy, it isn't suppose to be one-shottable like literally every other piece of content in the game. Also another poster with the victim complex crap, cut that shit out. No one is making fun of you. Maybe if you didn't put yourself down so much or act like everyone was out to get you, you'd actually try and complete the content.

Have the people that wonder why people don't suffer through the turns in coil is maybe they don't want to suffer through it? That the difficulty is no longer in the realm of fun, but frustration? And that they have to face the same frustration with each patch?

Those one-hit kill mechanics with Nael and the like, and the inevitable rage-quitting that ensues, are why endgame content isn't fun. If the constant rage-quitting were addressed, it would solve most of the problems with challenging endgame content that make it not worth to try anymore.

What does this even mean? If what other people are wearing affects you, start loving yourself man. Your achievements are not worth less when other people get them, it's not a healthy prospective. Be happy for however you got them and be happy for however other people have gotten them too.Good for you! However, you are not in an isolation bubble, even though people would like to try and turn the game into that.

meh who cares ?
Alexander coming
easy mode "nerfed SCOB + echo mode" with loot
hard mode "savage SCOB mode" with better loot (and titles maybe)
fixes what the thread was about before people began to rant for whatever suits them
fixes the need to feel special by having exclusive rewards for the good ones
fixes the need to nerf content as it grows older
brand new loot system to avoid the weeks of useless junk going to trash
everyone will win from that.
END
(pretty please with sugar coat ? yes ?)

Not really. It cheapens the feeling of clearing the content. My main incentive for clearing coil is the story, not the gear.meh who cares ?
