In actuality, something like this is actually the EASIEST thing for them to do and barely would do anything to the PS3 system.

This isn't them adding in 10 million polygons or anything like that, all they are doing is adjusting the model some of the base models of the races and the items they have. It's pretty similar to them changing the clothes size for each race, it's literally nothing more than maybe a month's amount of work for something that despite saying takes so much time is pretty simple for them to do.

They'd also have to add a deformable mesh layer to each and every piece of leg and chest equipment in the game and make sure there was no clipping. This would, in effect, require them to re-tool or re-create all of that gear. This has very little to do with the character models and everything to do with the gear.

Isn't that all the more reason to get it sorted sooner rather than later before more armors are added, I mean if people didn't want this, then this thread wouldn't be 20 pages lol.

Personally, I'm not against it. I just understand SE's reasoning. I could see this as being something they could do further down the line, as a partial redesign and as part of an expansion, by having teams work on it as a secondary or tertiary priority project when they had some idle time here and there between patches.

While they're at it, they need to give us guys a package slider. I feel like I'm castrated when I'm walking around in speedos.
