Public shaming is fine. Maybe then people will learn that this is, in fact, a game you play with other players and being an asshole has consequences when suddenly you can't join anything in PF as the entire server has you blacklisted.

maybe if your server pop is 200 and they all do hunts. but it still does make it right, nor does it work.
Any given hunt on my server will generate about 50-200 people depending on rank. All different too with the exception of a few regulars. out of those people, maybe a few will BL but the majority wont care. So we are talking a fraction of a single percentage of a server will be mad enough to BL someone.
Saying an entire server will BL you because of this is a little far fetched
Nope. Pulling a hunt early isn't against any rules, but harassing another player for doing so actually is.
But then by that logic i can turn around and say that Pulling early is griefing other players, as it is making one aspect of the game not enjoyable and unplayable for them. Not everyone has fibre optic broadband and SSDs(even then i load faster then people with them)
When a hunt is called the area gets laggy, and loads take time..Also most people seem to have a habit of calling it out then pulling so its either dead or half dead when you get there.

But how does that even relate to my comment about early pulling being a form of greifing? Yes i know its not really greifing but when you break it down into what its doing to other players, you could class it as greifing.
First you announce it, so then players are tping in to try and get to it, then suddenly while your riding to the boss only 20-30 seconds after the shout, it has been pulled, when you arrive its dead, part of the game content that player then just missed out on because of a select few players.
Greifing is making the game not enjoyable or making other players unable to do content of the game, basically purposely hindering their progress.
Yes it it a form of griefing and it's certainly selfish to say the least. With a chat box full of players enroute and looking for a party, these losers who decide they own the hunt by being there first just need to grow up. It's not whining to call people out like this but sadly it's doesn't' do much good because those who do it will never get it. One only needs to read some of the comments in this thread to see that.**snip**

Playing a part of the game as intended is not a form of greifing just because other people cannot enjoy it. it is dark devices fate all over again. If you report "early pulls" to a GM, do you know what they would say? exectly what that poster said.
"working as intended"
Hunts are not meant to be zerg rushed by an entire server. It is, as stated when it originally came out, meant to be down'd by a small group of people who happen to find it and are in the zone.
But you know what is greifing?
Calling someone out for playing a mechanic as intended
Trade locking someone from completing actions to make them lose hate
now pay attention to this one
resetting a mob that has been CLAIMED by another player or group, IE purple name.
go head, as a gm or a community manager if what you claim greifing. i'll wait here to see what he tells you.
go on

Thats more of a design flaw, it's not up to the players to make sure everyone gets there.
there is no such thing as early pulling so why do people keep using that expression
if you finda hunt kill it, call your friends, call the server, there are no rules excep the one the playerbase made up themselves but that doesn't mean everyone must follow them

That's pretty debatable if allowing the murder train to show up means the mob dies so incredibly fast that you still can't get credit even with a party, which has been happening to me more and more lately. You get no extra rewards for being the one to claim the Hunt Mark, no less reward for allowing more people to show up.
To the people saying "lern2play ur job then", there really isn't so much you can do with such a limited amount of gcds unless your party is all WHMs or something.
