Well maintenance time so time to catch up on forum posts. And for this I wanted to say that over the last 2 days I started doing these hunts just to see what it was like. Here is my experience:
A lot of times I'd make it in time and get marks. very nice. Sometimes I'd not make it because people were impatient and pulled. I kept having fun, though. According to this thread, though, I should somehow feel wronged. According to this thread I should feel like my life is ruined and have tears of sadness, become Emo and start putting pathetic little cut marks on my arms to try to get attention. However I can't seem to bring myself to think that way. Instead, I logically compared my hunts to my dungeon runs of the past few weeks. Even with the "early pullers" as you guys supposedly call them, I still made more marks in hunts than I know what to do with.
I am currently working on Zodiac, and I am at the book stage. When I would complete a book, and I needed tomes, I'd start joining the dungeon queues and it would take hours even as a healer to queue up and get tomes (mainly because the servers are now flooded with fake "healers" who are leveling the class just for the sake of queuing, and not even doing their jobs as healers - sad . . . so sad, but that's another subject for another thread). Since I started doing hunts, I have found that for "A" hunts a lot of people like to pull right away and it was kind of a challenge to get there on time. But for S ranks, there was definitely a lot more waiting (still the occasional impatient pull, but whatever) and in general S ranks were a lot better as far as taking the time to get in from other zones.
As a result, I quit chasing A ranks, but I did start responding to S ranks and in less than 1 hour I can be guaranteed enough tomes for my next book. I now have 4 books left and am averaging 1 book per night, and most of that time is doing the actual book requirements. Even while working on the book, I keep stumbling on S ranks in the zones I am in, resulting in tomes being ready for the next book before I am even done with the one I am on.
Long story short - I don't see a problem here and am starting to find this thread completely unfounded. This thread got me curious - and there's my result.

Pulling early isnt a thing. The Players invented the term and define the meaning. I "pull early" whenever I want to. Wanna know why? If I find a hunt while farming lights,SB'ing or anything else. I will not get a D#me thing if I wait for the wave of silly players to show up with their 8 man teams. I'll take my chances "pulling early".
Remeber, no one OWNS any hunt.
Not sure how things run on your server, but do it enough times and nobody will party with you and you'll enjoy a life of solitude being on a lot of blacklists. Then again, doesn't sound like you care much about your community so they're better off without you.Pulling early isnt a thing. The Players invented the term and define the meaning.
