I wish they would remove the cost for summoning. It hurts your dps alot when they die and you need to resummon them.

If they did do this, then they would likely have to make the SMN pets abilities share cooldowns because switching out for AoE phases could be really powerful (though pretty micro intensive). But ya, the high mana cost is not really that necessary
