i said nothing about healers that dps
I do agree that there are tons of SCHs who don't do the dexterous multitasking thing well at all, ie. if they go Cleric Stance-mode, they can only do that like a robot but can't react to the healing required and other ever-changing variables on the battlefield. Similarly, there are also SCHs who can only do decent when it comes to their healing game but suck at their DPS-game. Now, we could get into an argument about whether healers "should" DPS or not, but instead of going there, I am just gonna say that if I am gonna commend a SCH, I always give it to the person who balances their healing game and DPS-game well at the required level.
im perfectly fine with a healer dealing damage, as long as it doesnt get in the way of them keeping everyone alive
ive seen plenty that just stand there
literally just stand there and do nothing with eos on auto
Aight, that assessment I certainly can agree with, the quotation was mostly referring to the guy who you quoted (who mentioned "lazy healers who DPS"). You can see it's a new scholar or just a bad scholar when you see those auto-Eos guys, when the fairy blows everything on engaging.
@ExiledOne: the heal still happens, so even if a HP bar doesn't go up by the corresponding amount - it will still shield the people hit by it by the same numerical value. Ie. if you do a 500 Succor on a full HP bar - the person getting hit by some damage while Galvanize is up will have 500 damage chipped off of the full damage.
