This is a problem, I rather the developers decided this, they made the game not the players.
The developers had a vision for this game, let them do their job, if you want an mmo that lets you do what you want, make your own, I'm paying these guys that develop this game to do their job and part of that is creative vision, I'm not paying you.

I actually hate that statement, restrictions are a good thing, it tells people when to stop.

ps you are actually making this political, all of your statements comes across as this, this is one of the reasons the restrictions should stay put, better to not bring it up, then have it on display for people to get into these silly debates, again, I rather play the game then worry about silly vanity things like this.

Ugh please no. It isn't like you can't change your gender whenever you want. Want to wear a dress? fantasias are on the mogstation.

Next up a group of nudists are going to be asking for Emperors New Panties. "DON'T TELL US HOW TO LIVE, SE!" Plz stop.

Yea just use a fantasia to change to a girl character if you want to wear female specific clothes.

Man, some of you acting like you're honsetly scared by the concept of a man in a woman's clothing. Let me out your fears to rest. No, seeing a cross dressing man does not make you gay or want to crossdress yourself. No, it does not hurt your delicate sensibilities because you see worse in the game already (so many naked roe! But a manroe in a dress is too far? Really?) Its one thing to not be keen on the idea of cross dressing. Its another to tell people it's wrong because it squicks you out a little. Grow up and act like adults who realize the world is a varied place and allowing freedom in choice of clothing is not that big of a deal.

You seem the one thats scared here, the fact that people just see this as a video game they want to play, and not a political playground, I think the stuff that can be glamoured has gone too far already. Take the politics out of the game, people here end of the day want to kill dragons one way or another.

This has nothing to do with politics -_- it's just about giving more options to people to express themselves through their characters. So long as they're not actively harassing you it shouldn't be a big deal what they wear.

Maybe I'm just an old curmudgeon, but why do all of you guys want to wear dresses? If you really wanted to look like a female so badly then why not just make a female avatar?

Unrelated to the general discussion, I was disappointed when I finished the Hildebrand quests and found the Manderville Coatee was not Hildebrand's outfit but Nashu's instead....

For some people its not about looking like a woman. Some people identify as men, but like the aesthetic of women's clothing, or like the aesthetic of the two together. It could be played for laughs as well. Its not that they want to be women, its that they want to wear women's clothes.

And that is all well and good but don't you think there has to be at least a little bit of consideration for the people that don't want to be surrounded by men in women's clothing? Does it directly adversely impact them? Probably not. But the all important immersion takes a hit in my opinion. Right or wrong there are societal norms that make things just seem out of place if not maintained.

If SE opened the flood gates on this I think the percentage of people that would walk around in opposite sex attire would not be a proper representation.

I don't know. I want and try to be an open minded person but it just feels like if they were to allow this to open up 100% it would bother me.
