Oh I know right? Almost ever hunt has "that guy" who didn't make it and blames everyone for his own incompetency. After all, it's always "Everyone pulled early!" and never ever "I was slow and late". The 100 people who were ready are selfish for not waiting for 1 person, but 1 person demanding that 100 people wait for him is not selfish at all.

Could be worse. I once waited 20 minutes to get people for an A-rank, and as soon as it died people started yelling how we should've been helping them in East Shroud instead of pulling the one in Southern Thanalan.

The random drop factor was always the reason why people got like 4 sands a day way back, and in any case how is a bigger grind going to turn people away? If there is more grind you grind more.
