You do notice that they have not changed the amount of tomestones rewarded. Dungeons are a better source for those. If you want Carboncoat, Carbontwine, Sands of Time or Oil of Time then you want to hunt. If you want to purchase the gear to use those do other stuff.I'm hoping there is a limit on how many coat/twine you can get through hunts in a week, but knowing SE there won't be. To add insult to injury they'll limit you to one a week from WoD, meanwhile people will be getting 5 a day from hunts.
Reviving hunts = good.
Making hunts THE BEST WAY to gear up = not good.
No need to bother adding new dungeons, raids, trials, etc. The entire population will be chasing piss-easy marks, and screaming angrily at each other in process, for at least the next 2 months.
If you capped poetics every week you have all the gear you need allready. You do notice that they have not changed the amount of tomestones rewarded. Dungeons are a better source for those. Except for the weapon and you can always use the Poetics to gear up a second class.
The big problem with Hunts when they were first introduced was that they were also one of the best sources of Myth and Soldiery making all other content (outside of ST for the Unidentified Tomestones) unnecessary if you wanted to gear up a class.
In 2.4 Hunts died down because A ranks no longer gave out limited tomes.
Yes, but i thought we were talking about main classExcept for the weapon and you can always use the Poetics to gear up a second class.

Encrypted Tomestone + 10 Rowena's Tokens (130 poetics each) + Carbontwine = i130 weapon
If the 6xlogs/4xlogs rumor is true, then hunts might end up being secondary to WoD as the source of Carbontwine/Carboncoat.
You can receive only one reward item per week for completing duties in the World of Darkness. In the event you are awarded an item from the loot list, you relinquish your right to vie for all remaining items regardless of whether you selected Need or Greed. If time expires and a reward item is obtained automatically, this will also count toward the weekly limit.
Did you miss all the stuff else where were they said the Armor pieces and Tomestone/Carbontwine/Carboncoat are going to have separate lockouts? You can receive only one reward item per week for completing duties in the World of Darkness. Yes but no where does it say that WoD drops twine/coats. It is assumed because of the past system in ST, but the patch notes do not confirm that. A contradiction to this however is that Yoshi-P has stated that he would like a system in place where you do not have to choose between WoD gear and Token upgrades. Also, in a recent interview there could be a weekly quest that would award these token items instead. You can receive only one reward item per week for completing duties in the World of Darkness.
