    5950 is plenty for a caster IMO.

    T13 is a big healer check once people know mechanics. I've heard of succor not registering due to being cast late during mega/giga etc.

    In your parties defense since it is a big healer check, adding HP makes the entire fight easier.

    Is that with all the vitality bonuses applied? I had an occasion where I was left with somewhere between 30 and 40 HP during the megaflare dives and I was marked for it. I was around 6200 HP back then and I'm a white mage (with party bonus and food)
