Uhh, no, not even remotely similar. Loot window is far easier to overlook.Taking five minutes to loot is like taking five minutes at the start of a dungeon to actually move.

I'd disagree with that. People should know by now which bosses drop loot and those that do not. As people shall in WoD, especially at the start with which the expectation for loot will be at a returning all time high. If you overlook that 'small' detail then it will serve as a painful reminder the next time you do it. However, the likelihood of this happening will be quite rare at the start unless there are classes missing and/or people not greeding anyway.

People who are doing WoD has done LotA and ST. We should all know by now that bosses will drop a loot that we choose to need/greed/pass. 5 minutes is a generous amount of time to decide what you want to do.
It's not that easy to overlook, kill a boss in LotA and ST you get loot, I don't see it being any different in WoD, therefore after your bosses someone will open a chest therefore there will be loot.
It's not a matter of knowing/not knowing what drops loot, that's pretty obvious. -_-
It's a matter of it being easy to focus too much on the actual raid and forget about the loot pool. This is particularly susceptible to happen when only one boss in the raid drops the particular thing you want, making it easier to mentally overlook what everything else drops.
Seriously, you guys have never encountered this at all in your entire time playing? Do you think that any time a piece of loot fails to drop immediately, it's because someone is intentionally trolling you rather than just honestly forgetting to lot/pass? You've never been that guy?
Bottom line, if it's a scenario where there's a limit to how much loot you can get, you shouldn't be able to get loot unless you lot for it. Hopefully what they said in the notes is not how it will work in practice and that they won't just repeat the same blunder they made before.

Seriously though, how do you not expect to get rewarded for killing a boss? It's common sense and literally the only reason you are in there when it comes out. If you don't understand that killing a boss yields loot, you may want to tone down your gaming experience to an etch-a-sketch.
Again, not the issue.Seriously though, how do you not expect to get rewarded for killing a boss? It's common sense and literally the only reason you are in there when it comes out. I'm GLAD this will be happening. Its annoying when people sit around and don't roll.
How is that not the issue? The issue is getting locked out on loot because you aren't capable of noticing you are fighting a boss, killing a boss, then receiving loot from said boss. It's no different than doing a dungeon or another raid zone that contains multiple bosses that drop loot.
I think we should stop trying to dumb down things because people have the attention span of... ooh a shiny object.
Yes, I've been that person before. Because I afked, and because I was more bothered about looking at other things during that time. And you know what? I deserved to get given the useless piece of gear I was too distracted not to see was being rolled on for an entire five minutes. So I didn't complain because I should have been paying more attention. As others should.Seriously, you guys have never encountered this at all in your entire time playing? Do you think that any time a piece of loot fails to drop immediately, it's because someone is intentionally trolling you rather than just honestly forgetting to lot/pass? You've never been that guy?
