Loot Auto-drop in WoD? Please fix ASAP

that CS is now 100% skippable and has been for awhile now. I dont think the ps3 is that slow to load so if this is happening you might want to stop using that toaster and either upgrade your pc or get the ps3/ps4.

The PS3 is very slow to load, and in 24-man raids they are much worse. And while it may be skippable, people shouldn't have to rush out of CS just to avoid getting stuck with loot.

I don't really understand the hatred people have for this topic. Too many seem to have "this is how it is so deal with it" attitude. You people should be reminded that this game and it's systems were practically rebuilt from the ground up because the way it was made simply wasn't good enough. Improvements are meant to be made.

It's a simple design choice that makes perfect sense: for someone to obtain loot that would put them on lockout an intentional act should be required, period.

It's because the only valid reasons for not rolling is pure laziness nothing else refusing to roll because there are a select few assholes in the game? I don't buy that because they are few an far between. I have never seen it happen, I aren't saying it doesn't happen, but it's rare enough that most players don't have to risk getting trash they don't want.

It takes 2 clicks do as most do and pass/lot as soon as it drops and you have no problem, I for one have never been lumbered with something I don't want in CT because I have the common sense to do something to stop it happening.

You intentionally refuse to lot, knowing there is a chance of everyone else passing and it free dropping to you, that's your "intentional act" you choose not to lot/go afk in boss fights etc therefore it's your fault.

I can understand the OP question. I play on PS4. When its time to loot, the screen pops up and while you are looting, you cant move your character. Also if there is multiple items to loot after each boss, and you are trying to loot and are not moving, most times you get left behind. This is very apparent during runs in CT, ST, and coil runs. PS4, if using controller, you dont have the option to move while clicking away. you have to bring up the screen, then spend time going to each item to decide if you are passing, greed, or need. while others are running to next encounter. it can be tough to do, so its understandable that if its something you dont want in the first place, that you can just not even go through the list, at least on PS4. It seems like alot of you play on pc, which is fine, but there are alot of players not playing with keyboard and mouse which i think you all need to consider before the name calling and assuming things about players.

unless you have an extra hand or two, that incorrect. you are using left thumb to move, therefore left hand is totally occupied. Your right hand, yes, can possibly bring up loot menu. but for you to select which one you want to roll on and to select need greed or pass while controlling character is impossible unless either you turn your controller around so that you can use the d-pad, or if you are comfortable, you can try and use the track pad on the controller.

Actually, the best thing is for people to just calm down and give people time to loot instead of running off to next area. while yes, you have 5min, but it means nothing if you take 30 sec to loot on your items just to get locked out of a fight because people rush. Some people like to look at items they are looting on and actually look at stats to see if they need said item/gear before looting, hence the 5min timer. Especially people that are new to that particular raid/dungeon and have never seen the item/gear before. why everyone wants to rush and think that if they can do something in 10 sec, then everyone should be able to is beyond me. Once again, this is a Casual MMO. Lots of people playing that don't treat it like a job or a career.

All i do is just move my hand slightly to have my index finger over the select button while still moving the left stick forward or just active auto run. Using DS3

^^^^^ while that is very intuitive of you, that still doesnt solve the problem that it is hard to do both at same time. But like I said, if people want others to loot quickly on stuff, allow them time to do so. Especially when multiple items drop at same time. Not only is it difficult to check out every single item, but if im looting on one item while another one that i looted on gets completed, it messes me up when it disappears from the window and moves everything down, effectively making you choose wrong type of looting option for wrong item. Ive had this done to me many of times. and it happens when im trying to hurry and loot before next mob/boss. hurts when im trying to pass on an item after i passed on another and when im trying to pass, it shifts and makes me pass on the item i actually wanted.

Once again, this is a Casual MMO. Lots of people playing that don't treat it like a job or a career.

If you're gonna keep using this on everything, then it should apply to your side too. Get the wrong loot? Be casual and take it easy. There's always next week.

Also, it's not impossible to roll on loot while moving. You can auto run and just steer when you need to turn and roll on loot. You can also claw and roll on loot while manually steering the analog. You are also probably exaggerating on people rushing. Every time I run these raids, it's almost always waiting on people who should be initiating the fight (and aren't, despite everyone already getting in the arena) and everyone just stands around just looking at each other. You can even just get into the next fight arena first and then spend 10 seconds to roll on loot as people start the fight and start fighting and most people won't even care.
