(with the not enough damage being due to my slow start up and not due to damage itself)

as with leviviatian that is true it relies on the party which means if i am joining a friend to help i will lose my GL3 every stack while if i farm it with a good group i will have it thoughout the fight that instability makes it more a nuisance then a good thing,
People that kick you for dropping stacks at double meteor stream apparently don't know much about monks. She's in the air for about 12 seconds and you have nothing to hit. How exactly are you supposed to keep your stacks? I've never played MNK in Leviathan so I'm not entirely sure on the timing (i.e. whether it's actually physically impossible to keep stacks), but I can see it being really hard to keep GL3 up with all the jumping around he does.

also to those who say monk is the HIGHEST dps, from what i have herd a ninja can still hit higher, and black mages can hit higher, so thats 2 classes (one of which is getting reworked to deal more damage and be more varied) that can out dps monks.
The only time a good BLM will have more dps than a good MNK is an aoe situation. Single target, MNK/DRG destroy BLM. Ninja seems to be more bursty than MNK. I see a lot of people mistaking burst damage for dps lately.
