By randomness, I take that you mean HEAVY SCRIPTED fights??? There is no randomness in the mechanic in all fights, they are all scripted, once you get the script done, any fight is a child play. If you have problem dealing with mechanics, it is not design flaws or randomness, it is you who still need more practices.
Not enough decent people to clear contents with you while you are experience enough for a clear is one thing, but if you are clueless how to deal with mechanics, you are the problem. Practice, practice and keep practices.
Sorry to break it down to you, but if you can't even clear T5, given you are not the derp one, you won't be able to clear T9, let alone T13 unless you are looking for a carry that is.
Particularly speaking of Divebomb in t5, if you are the only one getting hit by Divebomb, you are not the marked one, you are too slow. If everyone get hit by the Divebomb, the marked player moved too soon or not stack properly. If you are the marked Divebomb, and the whole pt get hit, you were running early or not stack properly. So adjust your pace accordingly and the Divebomb dodging skill will come naturally.
I read this, decided nothing else was worth reading in what you said.
First off: Are fights scripted - Yes every fight has a running script, but just because there is a running script doesn't MEAN there isn't any randomness.
T10 is a good example of possible RNG, You could get Lightning / Tether or You could get Tether / Charge and its a dice roll, then its random on whoever gets targeted by x - ability so you have to react most of the times.
Another good example is back when doing T5 there was a change that One healer could get randomly targeted by conflag and the other healer could get targeted by Fireball. In which case the tank had to react to that situation otherwise he would die.
RNG is very prevalent in almost every fight in this game, so YES there is randomness.
Dive bombs are ridiculous and random, having to bunch up 8 people in a tiny spot (like a troop of clowns in a VW Beetle). The randomness of it all when you have to move everyone at unison since the time frame in between the green cross-hair appearing and the dive is minuscule, giving you no leeway to see who's got it so they can move out on their own. It's like a bad joke.
But I understand why people who have beaten the whole thing more than once feel the fight is like taking a candy from a baby, most of the block is psychological, once I beat it 2 or 3 times I'll probably feel is not that big of a deal.
It's the same thing as Titan HM, to me is a child's play now but I see how a lot of people struggle and still fear that fight because they have never won it before.
I love the empathy of elitist pricks like this one....

I understand how you can be having difficulty, turn 5 is probably one of the first real challenges, but honestly I think you should just keep practicing the fight and try not to get worked up about losing.
I don't mean to be rude at all but the fight is very scripted, as other people mentioned, and once you figure out the patterns it's going to become very easy just as you mention in your experience with Titan HM (haha wait until you try Titan EX :P).
All it takes is practice and it won't seem so random, the divebombs are actually on a timer so eventually you will be able to anticipate exactly when they are coming once you've practiced the fight enough times.

Do you know it is coming? Yes.
Do you know who will it be but you know it is happening? No but Yes
Then why don't you prepare for it? You know it is coming, you know it is happening, you know how to deal with it, then maybe you should get your mental, your thought ready to do it. It is entirely your fault for either not knowing it is coming, or not mentally prepare for it. Having beat all content but t13 on 350 ping teach me nothing but get ready for it when you know it is coming.
Back to Divebomb in T5, do you have Twintania focus target? Do you know the trick behind doing so? Do you even need to know who it target? No and if you don't know the meaning behind the action, maybe start doing your homework???
If you hate people calling you Noob or look down on you, have the energy to get angry an argue, save that energy to get better and prove them wrong. Actions speak louder than words

Didn't take you as rude at all, no worries. By the way, I have beaten Titan EX already a couple of times, he's up there with Twintania, although a little higher due to the whole "plume" thing, but it is not as frustrating since you can actually see the plumes, while Twintania's dive only gives you less than a second to check who out 8 people has the damn cross-hair and if someone is a bit slow everything goes down to hell.
Kasather, I understand where you're coming from. I couldn't beat this fight until I got a Ps 4 and better internet speed. Any lag on Dive-bombs is Death. Any lag anywhere in this fight could mean Death. Match this with new players and DF, could mean no win for you.
Yes, I entirely understand what you guys are saying, I for one have experience with this fight, I have gotten as far as the twisters but it is very difficult to coordinate 8 people every single time unless, of course, I have to join a "static", for which I really don't have the time for. Don't get me wrong, I have a lot of friends who have beaten this thing down many times and are experienced but it still rough even for a carry (which I have never done and will never do)
