While it's true that 390-ish is the magic number for hitting the 9 skill Berserk, it can be quite finicky. 400+ gives you slightly more leeway, so I can understand Xeno's recommendation of 421. But due to not needing more than 390 to actually hit it, it's best to stay closer to that number than to move all the way to 421, especially when using pure STR accessories.

Magic number is like 376, Xeno said 421 because that is the SKS he had.
