Yes you can. I currently do this with the below method for a very large profit.

Desynth bridesmad pants (weaver desynth skill at 100). I tend to desynth 100 at a time and get the following:

50-75 twinthread: Sell any extra on MB for 3k~ each
25-35 HQ Twin: Use 1+1 NQ for faster brocade rotation
20-30 FC3: Sell for 40-50k on MB
1-5 HQ Vanya Silk: Sell for 80-100k
5-10 Vanya Silk: Sell for 40-50k

I do the above 3 times a day to make 9 tools.

Selling the vanya and FC3 on my server nets me a profit while also giving me the mats for silver brocades. I usually make 3 weaver tools at a time and make about 9 total each day. I always get at least 2 MCD from those 9 tools. I have not kept track exactly on the results, but I have gotten 15 MCD from 9 tools on a couple days. IT is very easy and profitable even with MCD now selling for 340k~ on Coeurl.

Yes, but the rate is low. I've desynthed several forager's/artisan tools and received 1 MCD once, and 2 MCD once, every other time has been different materials.
