Yeah, one thing to keep in mind when little the Ariyala BiS solver find your set with food buffs included is that a lot of sets are going to resolve using Flint Caviar. This is all fine and great if you can make it or someone you know can, but that's an extremely expensive food to use for your average player (27-30k each for HQ on my server from the market board). So what I tend to do is run a BiS and pre-select the more easily obtainable foods and lock them in, and then compare them to what the solver said was best overall. Usually you can build various sets all within less than 1 STR of each other, but with slightly different gearing layouts. This way you can have some options available if you get poor luck on drops too.
I'll ask if I'm allowed to share it, but If you search hard enough, he's actually linked his sheet many times before on these forums :P. I think one thread was either the Damage Formula Thread, or the Determination calculation thread.
http://www.filedropper.com/ff14pps There ya' go. This is the one I'm currently working on and am updating constantly. A lot of it is still outdated, but I'm working through it as we speak. Dragoon is 100% fixed, I'm still checking through the Monks sim, but it looks up to date to say the least. As for Bard, I'm still going over the sim but I do have updated weights included in that tab (90% accurate). The sim is... complicated and it's a bit of an eyesore to say the least, haha.
There's still the odd bits and bobs I have to ask him about his simulator, but I've gotten the hang of it now. I'll be making a NIN sim as soon as I've hit 50 as well, so there's that to look forward to.
And seriously, don't worry about the weights mate, I'll periodically update them the second there's any class changes or ilevel increases. His spreadsheet will take a very long time to fully understand and I really, really do not mind getting the weights done. I ain't going back on another 6 months vacation, that's for sure. I miss this game.

Awesome. Yeah, as long as you don't disappear like all the other theorycrafters, that works for me lol. I'm sure I speak for at least a few when I say; We appreciate you picking up where he left off.And seriously, don't worry about the weights mate, I'll periodically update them the second there's any class changes or ilevel increases. I edited my post to include a download link if you're interested in seeing what his wizardry looked like.

Thanks! I'm sure I'll be able to figure it out eventually. It's not that I don't trust you, it just a bit scary having all the eggs in one basket so to speak. Esp. after seeing all our "wizards" vanish.
Edit: I can see now why we don't have any numbers for NIN, the job dosn't even exist according to this lol
Edit #2: I'm adding NIN to the "generaldata" tab atm. I'll copy it for you when I'm done.
