Do you think a quest will be needed to unlock Stoneskin II ? Or we'll just get it added in our skills ?
Th-thank you...As mentioned during Letter from the Producer LIVE, we will be adding Stoneskin II to the array of conjurer’s spells in Patch 2.45. This spell will allow you to cast stoneskin on your entire party when you are not in combat.
White mages rejoice! Soon enough you won’t have to spam stoneskin on the entire party before you begin your next battle. I know Bayohne is as excited about this as everyone else.
I thought the forums couldn't get any worse. Till I saw people complaining that WHMs get an ability that reduces waiting time between pulls.
Yes it is. You can only use it out of battle. You get to stoneskin everyone in your party not have to select 7 people and individually do it. How in the world is it game changing? It's a QoL adjustment pertaining to a very specific instance. out of combat.
QQ if you add in the Egis abilities, SMN get 15 extra skills. I Main a healer and SMN is my main DPS, I'd much rather have Stoneskin II than another Egi at this point in time. Besides people would still use Garuda all the time because of contagion.
He even said it...in the post you quoted, lol? That's a 1.0 icon pre-Yoshida. I can't remember the ability's name, but it's an ability for Conjurer than turned the next cast into an AoE. Similarly, Conjurer also originally had an ability that "Allows caster to hum next cast to cast while moving at reduced power." The AoE ability got removed during Alpha or Beta in 1.0 though, and replaced by the command /aoe which toggled all conjurer spells between single and circle aoe and all THM spells between single and front cone.

Not saying stoneskin II wouldnt be more useful than an egi, great addition imo
What I have been saying is it is battle related unlike what those other people want to insist. Im just a summoner that would also like new shineys.
