Buffing the whole party with one cast instead of 4 before every fight doesnt sounds like just QoL. Thats pretty big imo.

That's the definition of quality of life.

There are a set # of abilities/traits currently existing so it's a fair question if they are adding a slot for a new ability before level cap increase.

And No, ROG/NIN have the same # of abilities and traits as the other classes

As previously mentioned, they have more.

A new egi would be QoL too i guess since they dont really do anything drastically different.

Yes it is. You can only use it out of battle. You get to stoneskin everyone in your party not have to select 7 people and individually do it. How in the world is it game changing? It's a QoL adjustment pertaining to a very specific instance. out of combat.
