I dont know why people are complaining so much. This is what happens with MMOs. They always make older (key word here) easier to push people through the new content. This isnt anything new with any MMO. This is just the way it is. like others have said if you want to continue with the challenge get a group going for savage.

If they didnt nerf the older content that would go into duty finder people are just going to rage quit because they will have trouble completing the raid, lets be honest here, alot of people cannot handle wipes and when i say handle i mean the least bit tolerant.... especially those who wiped over and over during the progression phase. imo its actually the player bases fault why Mmo developers nerf dungeons/raid so bad. we have no one to blame but ourselves. SE Would had ever nerfed these coils IF those aweful (not all!)"Pro" players would have ANY respect to casual players, who want learn the mechanics or/and enjoy cut-scenes!
But nooo.. these so called "Pro"s expecting new players watched a damn YT Video guide, like to abusing bootsystem to kick them out and/or insulting these new players instead of helping them!

It's not about that. It's about things those instances made you learn that people can now skip. It's not about (at least on my point of view) gating people so I can feel better, because honestly, they'll still get facerolled by Nael in Turn4. It's about the learning experience those mechanics gave us that made those who were able to master them better players. If all you want is the "cool" Mapping the Realms achievement and feel better because you finally downed them then good for you, after today you learn nothing from them.

Myself, I did T9 months ago, and not farming for months to.
And I dont give a f... about this nerf.
T9 only got echo anyway, it's not like gonna make noob getting free-kill in T9.
The other turns are just trash now, and if you want chanllenge, there is still Savage.
Savage too simple becoz of ilvl 130 gear ? Nobody force you to wear ilvl 130 items, WTF are you talking about ?

When the lockout was removed, how many of you "helped" others and who still done this in their statics?
It needs the changes because you did not help, as we clearly see in all those postings here.
Just go and try some T6-T9 DF parties, it is fun and i enjoy every minute, even when its mostly a wipe... helping itself is fun and you see progress!

It has absolutely nothing to do with this and everything to do with the fact that the content is outdated.

To address your post, though, sorry, but if I put up a PF for my static looking to rep someone for a night, I don't want to have to train someone brand new. I think it's entirely unreasonable to expect 7 people that were looking to clear/farm the content to spend hours teaching you mechanics. :|

I for one do. I enjoy helping people get clears on content. I've gone in clear parties and subbed in statics on their first clear plenty of times now, and have helped FC mates get their clears as well. ^^

Excatly, I did wipe a lot in T7, maybe more then 200 times in total, I not gonna spend hours to explain this fight to someone that I will play with only once or twice.

You have 2nd Coil savage mode for your loots and challange so why even care about normal 2nd Coil?

I don't get it why some here are allways nagging about content being made easier.

Think the real issue here is that the hardcore people that are able to clear this content after many hours of attempts and struggles feel robbed of their time and effort put in when they see content nerfed and non-hardcore people come in and clear the same content in much less time and effort... hence the rage from the hardcore group! At least this is what I have got out of various people I've played with and I believe this is the real problem regardless if anyone is able to admit it or not.

At least I'll actually do DF Scob now, since I won't have to spend an hour wiping because one person in T7 doesn't know their shit, with all the "jumprope as a team" type mechnics.

It's all about that rush the first or second time you cleared a dungeon anyway. Any subsequent clears after that is just for farming gear for the next uncleared raid. The only downside is that the latecomers won't get to see what SCoB really was. But then again, no exp'd player would go back and pull them through the unnerfed version.

People should have known this was coming. This is what happens in every Theme Park MMO; older content gets made easier as new 'better' content is released.

Thing is, that is life. That is what happens all the time. Ever go spend $400 for a gaming system, only for the price to go down by $100 a year later? Do you get that money back? Does the store offer you a refund because the manufacturer reduced the price of that gaming system?

I get what you're saying, but the thing people have to realize is that things change, and sometimes you have no control over change. You just have to learn to accept the change and move on.
