    Cure and Cura spells cast on you by other players grant a healing over time effect to all party members within range. (aka regen for those near you)

    Current Paladin is, frankly, very boring in comparison to WAR. I understand they're providing a tank option that does it's job well and is less complex in comparison for options, but so many current endgame PLDs complain to me about the 1-2-3 combo getting old (with intermittent reactive buffs). Providing at least some healing options (or anything to break the combos up) would be welcome to them.

    Holy Succor was actually amazing, so many clutch death moments avoided.
    I expect that these were removed to make the Jobs easier to understand from a new player perspective. PLD is a tank, and throwing in healing spells as part of it's standard toolset would mean that new players would have something else to consider when tanking.

    Definitely love to see these return when the level cap increases, though. There's been enough time for people to get used to what roles do, now I'd like to see things get a little more complex and put in some more meaningful, tactical decision choices when it comes to what moves you use (some jobs kind of have this feel already but it's not really emphasised).

    The only thing I really want is for PLD to be able to cross-class Esuna. That would make me so happy, you have no idea. Nor do you want to.

    A tank that self heals would have to be powerful enough to replace a healer, or buff pt damage on top of self heals to make up for the damage he isn't doing with current content design. Though this discussion has been done a number of times since the beta and could be considered a very dead horse by now.

    I'm all for making PLD more interesting to play though.

    Just give Paladin Cure II, maybe even Cure III for the sake of hate generation. Then give them the ability to mod accessories with MIND on i90 Tank accessories.

    Though if I had to guess, few paladins would bother with it.

    Paladin's have a lousy mind stat, even if it's boosted from gear, so healing wouldn't generate much hate for them.

    I like the idea of the PLD getting a self heal. But we get casting interrupts all the time for just stoneskin. MP is tight when holding large mobs with flash. Some sort of ability maybe for Heavensward? Can't wait to see the level 60 abilities for all the classes! And Dark Knight!

    What about a full penta melded HQ i90 with full mind HQ accessories also penta melded gear? I would have to check the calculator when I get home. But that sounds like it could work well. Maybe...

    Thats funny, I don't recall that happening in previous games that had tank heals (unless your counting going through older content in higher level/gear?).

    Paladin really does need a cure though. It's worked perfectly in other tank scenarios I've played, your either using the resource for healing yourself/member on verge of death or better enmity gain, you couldn't reliably do both the entire time as you would drain your resource way to fast. Hell, we should take out bloodbath then right? That does a hell of a lot more healing than the current cure PLD is given from CNJ, and is instant without needing to cast plus reactive to your damage, not taking up any time in your rotation. Heals can very well be put in for Paladin.

    This is really what it comes down too. It can get insanely boring. I stopped PLD'ing for a while because of it as it got very monotonous. Its sad that SRing dungeons can be more difficult/fun than tanking a primal.
