I hope it doesn't including getting a job, doing school or actually being worth while what so ever in the real world... cause if SE continues to make casual play less beneficial you're not doing that. I guess it's people like you that say "Screw having a life, I have this MMORPG." Well honey when the servers go down, and you've spent ten or so years giving 100% of your all because no game will go forever.. what will you have to show for it? Old stories of the game adventures that really no one other than people who played it are gonna care about? I like MMORPGs, but no I don't think it's a life style you should put 100% of your efforts into, it's for fun not a job? Do you get paid for this? Does it put food on your table? Maybe if you sold gil in it to feed yourself I could have maybe a bit more respect. It'd explain why you're happy with reduced gil rewards for leves and such. I mean gil sellers can't sell a product when there is no demand cause it's easy to get, right? Oh... maybe you should pursue this career, your slogan can be "Show you care! Buy Gil so a 30 year old virgin can eat!" Yeah I know that was immature of me but hey, how mature is saying you put 100% of your efforts into something that's supposed to be fun, not work.
hold on... giving 100% means i sit here playing all day? sorry thats not the case

I will put 100% effort into learning the game mechanics, into doing everything the game has to offer. If it takes me a week or a year to get something i will play the game for what it is instead of sitting here crying like you are.

oh newflash everything in this world requires effort.. even fun things.. oh yea i forgot... ur lazy

When you learn of these mechanics and figure them all out. Then they'll present items and gear you will need to bring out the most in the system, hopefully it won't be like XI where you spend 6 months or possibly years sometimes for a piece of needed gear so your class can be stronger as you play with these mechanics... Lazy because I am a shut in, or lazy because I don't like putting that much effort into something that is supposed to be for leisure and fun. You already put effort to play, when you work and bring home a check to pay to play the game in the first place (when they start charging.) And being lazy for being a shut in, there are reasons I can't leave my home easily. But when my man and I want to go to a movie and he makes it able for me to go do something outside the house, I'd like to do so without coming back to the game only to hear a bunch of elitists talk about how it was a "Once in a lifetime opportunity missed" cause I wasn't there for a boss fight or something. Once in a life time opportunities in a game? Really!? if you think you need those to be happy maybe you should see a shrink. I can't understand why hardcore players want casual ones to just be left in the dust. Answer how you all benefit from this? It'd be an easy solution that wouldn't interfere with your play at all, make leves, and quests give more sp, gear rewards (on par with the party ones) and gil... so they can keep up with the hardcore players, then in the EG we can all play together and be on even ground. Is it that important that you get so much more for having more time to play than another? If you're playing to have fun and nothing else, what is the significance of wanting things to hurt the casual players progression?
