SE should have kept the old level 90 AF2 gear.

But I think he still wants to get them from hunts. ^^; What about the i90 accessories, can you get those from Ancient pieces? It's not the most outrageous comment in the world... why shouldn't there be multiple ways to obtain these items like there was before 2.4? It promotes diversity in favored acquisition methods. I personally think we should still be able to get them from Mor Dohna merchant NPCs for half the cost of the Soldiery equips. But something I don't get is... if Soldiery equips were truly meant to replace the "vintage" armor sets, then why aren't the prices lower and the yields higher for Soldiery tomes? Though I think Poetics drop rates can stay low because that armor is the new top tier tome prize.

Yes, but my point was that farming seals is very easy and effective (you just get the points and buy what you want). Farming the 5 new items is tedious and subject to randomness (the right item has to drop, and you have to win lot).
I can see a couple of reason to remove them from Myth and not putting them into Soldiery, but there was no valid reason at all to remove them from Allied Seals.
