See i actually like this idea. It rewards you for playing roles most people do not want to play.450 is way to high, the only legit method I could see working is allowing players to either gain more soldier tomes by going on needed role or having it where the tank and healer role can gain an extra 50 poetics for playing said role.
So instead you would have this.
Base poetic gains=450
Tank role gains=50 cap
healer role gains=50 cap
This way you are only offering a slight advantage of playing a healer/tank role rather than offering a incredibly huge leap of gear gains in a sort period of time because in essence you are recommending that what is suppose to be earned in 3 weeks of play will now be earned in 1 week and that would destroy the pace of the poetic gear gains.
I would even like this mab a little better then mine.
Thats for adding to the post.
If it really came to that wouldn't a different reward system make more sense than diversifying the tomes further? They already do this via the adventurer in need system in place.
Yoshi has also expressed concern about flooding the game with too many tokens. It was their justification for removing Philo and Myth since there was no reason to have too many currencies. For this suggestion to work you would have to remove excess currencies.
Personally I think something like the dynamic adventurer in need system should be in place. The existing system in place should stand but at times where the system becomes inundated with insane queue times there should be a "emergency" adventurer in need system. Things are so bad we're tripling the roulette reward or offering some other juicy reward on top of the existing one. The fact is some people don't like tanking and healing so you won't really create more extra tanks from any bonus system. You need to convince existing people who do like to tank that the roulette is worth their time even after their daily roulettes are done. Dragging them back to the roulette is the meal you need to make pallet-able.
