    You understand that if EVERYONE queued in progress...then no dungeons would be 'in progress' able to lose a member and therefore, your queue line would never move right.

    Also, you understand that the 'in progress' queue was NOT intended as the 'quick win' but as a 'sure, I'll help some stuck adventurers out' button right?

    Meaning, your solution not only fails on an actual practical nature, but also fails to meet the 'in progress' intended design.

    It doesn't take a white knight to defend this addition. I have disliked the way SE has implemented many things, most notably vanity and housing, but I love this lockout. In fact when I first read the patch notes I thought it meant after three strikes you would be locked out for the entire remainder of the day. Sadly, it's only 30 mins.

    Seriously, if you miss your queue or withdraw after the party is formed three times in a single day you obviously have no respect for others. I don't see any need for polishing or changes, unless it's to make the penalty more severe. It baffles me that people are actually complaining about a 30 min lockout when they couldn't be bothered to pay attention to their queue for 30 mins to begin with.

    In Kallera's case, what can also happen to you is you queue for a duty w/ a party. But one bloke when to the bathroom, so he missed the queue. He might have even said 'brb' but the party leader queued them for it anyway. If EVERYONE in your party...even if it's a FULL party doesn't hit commence before the timer pops =1 strike. So it's possible for this to happen multiple times to someone (even if they ALWAYS accepted the queue). Either accidental or because someone is 'trolling' in PF or simply isn't aware of the new changes. Heck, there have been times I've queued for something with my FC mates, and we queue up, thinking everyone is ready and someone realizes 'OH crap, forgot to buy food/fix gear/not be DRG...etc'

    So basically, there is a group of people who overall support the changes, but think they should ONLY apply to the offender 'person who didn't select commence' and/or shouldn't apply if you queue as a full group. Still they otherwise see the value of the system (and likely once people get more use to it/aware of how it works, it'll be fine).

    I don't mind this at all. If I know I'm doing something important I'll just not look for things and get what I need to done, except if I'm in a frontlines mood then I just interrupt whatever I'm doing and go for it. Now I'm sure there's exceptions. That sweet sweet buttery high quality craft of mucho $$...well..just don't put it up then.

    The bathroom ones are the hardest...and everyone here is right they come RIGHT at that point. Decisions have to be made, mops need to be brought out, pride put to the side how important is sands of time to you?! Do you take the 1x strike, or clench everything up and penguin power waddle by the windows just to press accept..just to be outlotted by that lolnin who was either AFK or dead from standing in front of the mobs.

    I'm targeting specifically those blindly defending the system, if the hat didn't fit you then pass it on, wasn't meant for you.

    Let people provide feedback, not everyone will agree with every aspect of the current system and as a new system it will be changed over the time, not everyone who disagrees with certain aspects of this system is wrong.

    Your friend scenario is a perfect example of players having the mindset that they should be able to screw others over with no penalty. If you got a penalty in that scenario, that means you hit withdraw when the queue was already popped, not caring about those on the other end and simply wanting your friend to come along. I'm glad people get locked out for this now, this was not cool even before this penalty was added.

    I do agree that it is annoying that the penalty affects all the party, though. If you hit commence, you should never receive this penalty in any circumstance. There may be a situation or loophole in which this could be abused, though; I can't imagine SE adding this part for no reason.

    Party leader is responsible to make sure everyone is ready before you queue. If one them is AFK, the party has failed and deserve to be punished collectively. You don't 7 of them gaming the system and do 14 withdrawals before only one of them get a slap on the wrist 30 minute penalty. If some one says they are afk, then they should withdraw from the queue before it is filled (i.e. DF pops and commence button shows.) Show some respect to the rest of the player base out there.

    If the DF queue pops, and someone needs to use the bathroom, click commence anyways, and apologize for a 2 minute delay. No penalty will be assessed and people will be understanding, some queues do take a while.

    Important to note that this can only happen in a Full Party setting if you are queuing for an Alliance based duty. See below:

    no, its not. if its a 4 man dungeon, a "full" party consists of 4 people. withdraw 3 times and no lock out. the same applies to 8 man trials/raids. if you go in with a complete premade, there is no strike. CT and ST are different because of alliances, but that too can be avoided by going in with 24 people.
