They are there, but you have to do the new dungeons for them - they drop antique items which are then traded in for those. They dont seem completely gone, patch notes say tjwfollowing:Items which required Allagan tomestones of mythology can no longer be obtained from the NPC Auriana. However, these items can now be obtained from the NPC Kakalan in Revenant's Toll (X:22 Y:5).
I havent checked but they seem to be there.
Which means they're inaccessible until you're nearing an iLvl you don't need them anymore.
Snowcloak dropped myth gear and myth mats![]()
I was very upset when I discovered that the I90 were no longer on the allied seal vendor. I had no problem with them removing the Tomestone or those versions, but I feel it was stupid of them to remove it from allied seals. I don't have time to run all the dungeons so the hunts were a nice way for me to get at least useful gear for the occasions I do. Now the grind to get enough stuff from what I do have time to do is a real turn off. I am sure all the Hardcore players will have no problems with this change, but for casual players like myself this was a seriously crippling blow. I am starting to see why so many people complain about SE and their business practices.
This, its going to turn alot of people off, like you said, the casual players are screwed. And in 2.5, casuals will get their patch while all the raiders who start on FCoB today will be bored out of their mind by then and whining because we lose our precious better than everything status from raiding. Everyone gets a turn.
Why exactly do you need that gear if you don't have the time to do anything with it?I was very upset when I discovered that the I90 were no longer on the allied seal vendor. St no longer has a loot lock. When was it removed?Syrcus Tower still drops ilvl100 gear and there's no weekly loot lock anymore.Other than that, I agree about the soldiery and artifact gear being cumbersome to obtain now.
Never mind, you can still obtain the ilvl100 gear with soldiery in Mor Dhona, the same as before.
Good. 20-30 seals was far too cheap for the i90 gear. It was way too easy to gear up. x_xThe problem mostly has to do with people who're fresh 50s. You get FAR less Soldiery compared to Myth, and so crossing the initial hurdle - getting from i45-50-ish as you would be at the end of the game into an iLvl that will let you participate in a lot of content - is going to be notably slower.
The gear was made desynthable. Leaving it in the allied seal shop for those ridiculously low prices would be a recipe for disaster. Besides which, it's now completely outdated. i110 is going to be the new i90.I was very upset when I discovered that the I90 were no longer on the allied seal vendor. With the 2.4 patch.
With CT2 loot unlocked, you can easily gear i100, so I see no issues about i90 gear, unless you want it for glamouring.
