So you think it would be better for only a few people to have knowledge that gives them a market advantage, and everyone else who didn't get to view it are out of luck?

No, leaving it on there was the best course they could have taken.

Not even a need to debate it. They could have removed it and said whatever they wanted - for their reason to remove, (including translation issues, restructuring of recipes, stating that "since recipes will be changing so much we have decided not to list their recipes at this time"...ect..) instead they stated that these recipes were for later patches, practically confirming their finality. This lead to a surge on the markets.

What they say doesn't matter. What matters is that removing it would give those who saw it an unfair advantage over those who didn't. This is not a smart thing to do.

And they didn't state the recipes are for later patches. That only pertains to the items that they did remove from the list.
