Mastercraft Demimateria were around 300k on adamantoise before the 2.4 prelim notes. Now they are going a mil a pop now. Gonna need at least 6 mastercraft demis to make the new crafter's gear, I think? So they are gonna be expensive for a while now.

I've been getting them pretty regular from desynthing the Artisan's glasses. So not going to need to buy any at all, in fact I wound up getting two Supras and even selling some

Our policy is such that we do not post information that can have any effect on the behavior of the market. Since the information spread so quickly, we made the decision not to remove it as it was already out in the wild.

Which is why I think BEFORE is better at least we have time to stock them up and not rushing and running to places to get the items or even craft them

Maybe to be fair, announce a fixed time that the patch notes will be released.

The mats in question are put up by crafters to sell to other crafters in the first place. Anyone in need of them to craft is also high enough to make the items people desynth for the mastercraft demimateria. The only thing this really did was drive the people with extra gil to buy up what they needed in advance inflating the price temporarily. Those people do not have any issues spending that kind of gil to be first in anything and would have bought it all up patch day regardless while the rest of us are at work. The early notes didn't really do anything long-term.
