So Why assume removal of Classes?

The why does Yoshi-P not give DRK a class, like any other Job that we have thus far? It just doesn't make sense, and the only thing that comes to my mind when hearing this is, they " Maybe" getting rid of the class system ( implying).

Yoshi-P mentioned back in 2.0 the plan for creating Advance Jobs that may require players to first obtain 2 certain Jobs first before they can unlock these Advance Jobs.

Then DRK should be one of the first to get a " Job+Job= DRK" But they flat out said DRK will not have a Prereq ( just get DRK and level it up, no getting Jobs to a certain level).

back then there was a info from Yoshi said that player have to choose between Dark Knight or PLD, but there were voice against that so they ll look into it. But the info are a year old, so thing might change. So the OP was not wrong when say ppl jump the gun, because they are jump the gun atm.

Dark Knight (DK) does not requried class, mean DK can required something else but they will not tell you atm, at the live letter maybe. There was no words about abolish class, IF they abolish class, they will say they abolish class and why, but here there aren't, so don't jump the gun

Right the slide only mentions No classes. But they also said ( according to people that saw the Keynote) that there will not be any prereqs either. ( I just have to wait for someone to upload the video so I can confirm this 100% for myself.)

considering that they are hinting at the new job announce at the jp will be the gun wielding one it will prolly be classless... Yoshi stated in the Las Vegas fanfest that the expansion will have "new jobs" no mention about new classes which the gun wielder would need since weapons atm, even the DrK ones are class/job specific
