Lol. Silly forum people and their over-dramatizing. ^_^; It's been only minions and mounts since the start and people are already fussing about it becoming P2W, lol. Why not actually wait for that to happen before automatically assuming based on absolutely nothing?

Just my 2 cents: I don't see difference between the cash shop and the Collector's Edition exclusive in-game stuff.

Essentially, you pay more to have a content unobtainable in normal gameplay.

As suggestion, I think that cash shop could sell timed-exclusive content.

You want to mount Sleipnir right now? Pay with cash, but next month all players will have the chance to obtain Sleipnir.

i think they're making a lot of profit already if the subscription base is 2.5 mil. They get between $250mil to 375mil a month.

That kinda makes sense. I may not agree with it, but it would be better than just straight up selling it on the cash shop with no way to get them in-game.

... That makes no sense. For the mog minion, you buy the mog plushie. For the CE minion you buy the CE copy for the game.

It's literally the same thing. You buy something, and a minion comes with it as a bonus.

Well with CE, you can buy the digital CE version which is literally just the mounts and minion.

Maybe i've looked in the wrong places but I haven't seen any of the older seasonal items for sale that I hadn't participated in myself. The event's items I missed aren't even listed.

I was able to buy all the yukatas and costumes during the summer event, as well as all the different earrings a couple of weeks ago. I thought those were past seasonal items.

It'd also be very silly to quit for something that doesn't affect you at all in-game.

It doesn't affect you, clearly. But it affects the rest of us. I have to ask, did you at least read the recent pages?
Things that available only in the cash shop and not in game affect everyone. It is not a simple "if you don't like it don't use it" because it's something that we don't get anymore that would have been in the game. Where our monthly subscription fee would have allowed us to obtain these items through playing the game we no longer can and can only get them through paying more money.
Clearly vanity items to you mean nothing and everyone else shouldn't care about them either because the core of the game is still there and it's not pay to win.
But the way you play =/= everyone else's. Many people play to collect these things and to do everything BUT fight in dungeons or do raids or get gear.

Forum= The voice of concern. If they get rid of them, there will be no voice for SE to hear ( Feedback). They will do well to not lose the voice.
