This doesn't bug me. I saw this happening anyway. I have nothing to spend my myth on also. Only thing that I wondering about is the Ninja Myth gear. I guess they'd put it in dungeons or maybe hunts and let Solidery carry Solidery Ninja armor. Which is kinda annoying cause I like the Myth armor cause it looks like a more detailed AF. *Doesn't hunt much, Has myth for Glamour for other classes*

I don't mind this. I think a few people said everyone starts at zero. If they kept it at the previous tomes people would be fully geared or very close right when 2.4 came and then we have the "Nothing to do" argument again. At least very quickly at 2.4's life.

Thats just my two cents. I don't mind this. I can't wait to see the new tome gear. Hopefully it looks alot cooler than solidery.

You must have missed the memo...

We used to have this little thing called Philosophy tomes back in the day. Funny story really... what happened was all the then 'good' gear became nearly impossible to obtain, along with various other items, such as crafting mats and so on. The exchange rate for then 'top' currency was paltry, so we didn't even get much out of stockpiling our old philo tomes to convert over. In their infinite wisdom, expect most of the 'AF2' drops to be moved to RNG drops in dungeons.

Point is, we've been down this road before. And it wasn't much fun back then either.

Agreed, a lot of the soldiery gear is pretty unattractive or gaudy, especially the Daystar set.

I hope they give casters not-robes at some point. Would love to see casters get something similar to the divine monk/bard sets from current expert roulette dungeons. Basically, make it look more discipline of war-ish. Since we can't glamour DoW gear on casters, it would be a nice compromise.

So, ill try to be less of a smart*ss then you are.

Been playing since launch and know allllll about the philosphy tome removal. Guess what? Farm. Dont like it? too bad. The gear is dated and you should have got it back then if u wanted it that bad. Crafting mats? Myth falls from the sky, use that to get the mats if you must have them so badly. Or guess what? farm the dungeons. Dont like to farm?

Lastly, AF2 will not be put into dungeons. I really doubt the iconic look for each class will be reduced to fodder gear in easymode dungeons. If im wrong, ill quote this post and admit my mistakes. You should really not try and be a DB to someone for disagreeing with your POV.

Mythology is gone. we all knew it would be. Its time to move on.

You do know that all myth gear can be purchased with Allied seals from the Hunt Vendor right? So if Ninja does get myth gear, you'll be able to purchase it with allied seals.

Yep no point in spending sol now so might as well stock up and just wait for patch so u can gear up NIN in a day.
Farm 12 atma
Save sol so you can get most parts
Stock up on sands and oils etc
And go on a shopping spree once it drops.
Then you grind new tomes and bam gear better than coil 2nd. And all it took was little to like no effort as you got ST and hunts to thank.
Then you can go shout in mor / go in PF and be like ilvl100+ NIN looking for coil 3rd group.
