If SE put up one server of final fantasy 14 1.0 would you go back?

Hello everyone, just a fun question. So basically as the title asks, if square enix restarted a server of 1.0 meaning graphics and world with all the updates of 2.0 meaning only content would you go back to the world of 1.0?

Me honestly.. I would.. Just for the wide open world and beautiful graphics. No offense I love playing 2.0 don't get me wrong, it's just, watching youtube vids of 1.0 and remembering the puzzle of the black shroud and figuring out how to get to grindania for the first time, I mean 1.0 just seemed so deep.. Like mind boggling deep at times.1.0 was just so beautiful I remember watching the sunrise in thanalan it was just breathtaking, I have never seen a mmorpg look that beautiful.

Anyway it's just a fun thread please no bashing simple yes or no and why or why not.

I bought the game originally and played it maybe a week. There's a reason I didn't put any more time into it and have no desire to ever go back.

I agree if they did something different to FFXI and got rid of the ps2 support and 360 support then moved them to next gen consoles and did little tuning, graphic enhancements changes or even a overhaul keeping the models then adding some more races even keeping the world as it is but updated with new things to do.

I probably be interested though SE needs to throw out a guide you can get lost in that game if you are gone too long.

Yes, for 1.23. Sigh, wish they'd change the progression of this game...I've since quit, but maybe they will someday fix things :/

Why try to fix what isn't broken? Just because YOU don't like something, doesn't mean its broken.

You realize this goes both ways, right? Just because you didn't like 1.23 doesn't mean it was broken. 1.23 had a lot more engaging and strategic combat system from 2.0. The only actual things broken with it were the server structure and it's graphics optimization which didn't need a complete remake of the core mechanics to fix.

I would love to play the 2.0 content that was designed for the 1.23 system. It had actual character and could have been much better than ARR if they had devoted their entire team to fleshing it out instead of just a few people keeping it running while ARR was being developed.
